The Federal Ministry of Arts, Culture, Tourism, and the Creative Economy (FMACTCe) has officially signed a Memorandum of Understanding (MoU) with The Creative Park Limited to build a massive Creative Park in Abuja’s Idu District.
The 30-hectare Creative City is designed to revolutionize Nigeria’s creative and cultural industries, providing modern infrastructure, training facilities, and investment platforms to position Nigeria as a global creative powerhouse.
Speaking at the signing ceremony on Thursday, Minister Hannatu Musa Musawa emphasized the government’s commitment to nurturing the creative sector, calling the deal a major step toward economic diversification and talent development.
“Today is a proud moment because this is President Tinubu’s vision coming to life. Being Nigerian is an incredible honour, and our creativity is one of our greatest assets,” Musawa said.
She highlighted the creative industry’s power to tell Nigeria’s story, connect with people across all backgrounds, and shape global perceptions of the country.
The partnership, structured as a public-private collaboration, aims to unlock new economic opportunities, foster cultural tourism, and ensure Nigeria’s creative talents thrive on the world stage.
