Hon. Wale Raji, Member of the House of Representatives for Epe Federal Constituency, has commissioned three newly built model schools in the Oko-Abe, Ilege, and Owu-Ikosi communities.
The commissioning, held on Thursday, August 21, 2025, was attended by representatives of the Lagos State Government, traditional rulers, and community stakeholders.
Speaking on behalf of the Lagos State Deputy Governor, Dr. Kadri Obafemi Hamzat, the Commissioner for Education, Jamiu Alli-Balogun, described the schools as improved learning facilities that represent a commitment to the future of young people. He encouraged teachers to inspire their students and urged pupils to take full advantage of the opportunity.
Hon. Raji said the projects were part of his broader constituency development efforts. He listed other interventions including road construction, street lighting, boreholes, transformers, bridges, jetties, and vocational centers, stressing that governance must focus on service delivery and impact rather than campaign promises.
Traditional rulers across Epe Division commended the projects, noting their significance for education in the constituency and pledging community support for their sustainability.
In his remarks, Dr. Hamzat commended Hon. Raji’s performance, describing the projects as evidence of effective representation and an investment in the future of children in the constituency.
