Speaker of the House of Representatives, Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, has congratulated Vice President Kashim Shettima on his 59th birthday, describing his life and achievements as worthy of celebration.
In a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Musa Krishi, Abbas commended the Vice President’s intellect, loyalty, and unwavering support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu. He noted that Shettima’s rich background as a banker, former Governor of Borno State, and member of the 9th Senate has brought invaluable experience to the current administration.
Deputy Speaker Benjamin Kalu also extended birthday wishes to Shettima, praising his commitment to Nigeria’s progress. Kalu highlighted Shettima’s record of leadership in Borno State and the National Assembly, describing him as an inspiration whose legacy reflects a deep dedication to public service. He prayed for the Vice President’s continued health and wisdom in supporting President Tinubu’s efforts to unite and develop the country.
The All Progressives Congress (APC) joined in celebrating the milestone, with its National Publicity Secretary, Felix Morka, hailing Shettima as an outstanding leader and staunch progressive. The party highlighted his journey from the banking sector to roles as Commissioner, Governor, Senator, and now Vice President, applauding his devotion to excellence and national unity.
On behalf of the National Chairman, Prof. Nentawe Goshwe Yilwatda, and the National Working Committee, the APC prayed for Shettima’s continued strength and sound health as he contributes to the success of the Renewed Hope Agenda and serves the nation.
