Tuesday night’s second leg at San Siro ended in a pulsating 4–3 win for the Italian giants, who needed extra time to complete the job after Francesco Acerbi’s dramatic stoppage-time equalizer.
The tie had been delicately poised following a 3–3 draw in the first leg, and both sides delivered yet another classic in front of a raucous crowd. Barcelona clawed back from a 2–0 deficit with goals from Eric Garcia and Dani Olmo, before Raphinha put them 3–2 ahead in the 87th minute.
