The Speaker of the House of Representatives, Rt. Hon. Abbas Tajudeen, Ph.D., GCON, has extended his condolences to Kogi State Governor Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo on the passing of his father, Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo.
The late Alhaji Ododo, aged 83, passed away on Monday, according to a statement by Kogi State Commissioner for Information and Communications, Kingsley Femi Fanwo.
In his message, Speaker Abbas described the loss of a parent as profoundly painful and expressed solidarity with Governor Ododo during this difficult time. He urged the governor to find comfort in the positive legacy his father left across Kogi State and beyond.
Highlighting the joy parents feel in seeing their children succeed, the Speaker noted that it is consoling that Alhaji Momohsani Ododo witnessed his son rise to the position of governor.
Speaker Abbas also extended his sympathies to the Ododo family, the people, and the government of Kogi State, praying that Allah (SWT) grants the late Alhaji Ahmed Momohsani Ododo Jannatul Firdaus.
