Tinubu Wins APC Presidential Primary in Gombe with 450,517 Votes

President Bola Ahmed Tinubu has secured a total of 450,517 votes in the All Progressives Congress (APC) presidential primary exercise held in Gombe State.

The result was announced by Governor Muhammadu Yahaya, who served as the collation officer for the exercise in the state. He said the votes were collated from all 11 local government areas of Gombe State.

According to the governor, the APC has 550,516 registered members in the state, and Tinubu received 450,517 votes, while his opponent, Stanley Osifo, did not record any vote.

Governor Yahaya described the process as peaceful and orderly, adding that it reflected strong support for the APC and the President in the state.

He also said the collation was carried out in line with party procedures and would be formally submitted to the APC national secretariat in Abuja.

The Gombe State APC chairman, Mohammed Ndus, described the exercise as smooth and said it demonstrated unity within the party ahead of the 2027 general elections.

He congratulated successful candidates in the process and urged members to remain united and support the party’s leadership ahead of the polls.

Officials of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC), security agencies, election observers, and members of the media monitored the exercise across the state.
